Get revved up to run and cheer at the racing-themed NC Half Marathon and 5K where thousands of runners will descend on the 1.5 mile track at Charlotte Motor Speedway!
The unique race course will encompass all three tracks at the CMS complex featuring stock cars at every mile and bands, DJs and cheerleaders flanking the course! Participants will go green at the CMS Start/Finish Line, race up and down zMAX Dragway and pass the Dirt Track as they return to the superspeedway where Pit Road will serve as the final stretch.
Just like on Sunday, the awards ceremony will be held in Victory Lane! Overall winners will take home the Ultimate Finisher Medal and the prize of a lifetime-- a stock car Ride-Along given by Richard Petty Driving Experience following the ceremony. One spirited runner with the most applause from the crowd will also be awarded an RPDE Ride-Along experience, so show up in your favorite racing attire and bring your fan spirit!

We would like to invite all Buick owners to join us for this event. We are expecting to get over 500 Buicks to this event and have great tours and activities planned. A registration form can be found at www.buickclub.org/2012. We have classes for 400 point judged, display only, driven, modified, specialty and professional, and vintage race cars. All Buick’s through current production year can register to attend this event and be placed on the showfield, but accepted years in each class do vary so check the registration form.
